Boxwood Harlandii Bonsai
This was my first bonsai tree. I learned a lot of what not to do with it. It spent about 6 months in Atlanta, GA before being moved back to Madison, WI for a couple summer months after I graduated college. Then in August, I moved with it to Seattle, WA where it has lived since.
4/11/2024 - The moss continued to grow and completely covers the nebari making the tree appear much older than it actually is. There is quite a bit of green growth but still some branches with dead leaves that didn't come back.

9/28/2023 - It's looking a bit better and has some new green growth. Starting to get a bit of moss on the nebari which looks quite nice.

6/17/2023 - The tree isn't looking great especially next to that juniper with all of the light green growth. I think that moving so many times has caused some stress so hopefully once it stabalizes, it will recover. I did remove the wire sometime after moving to Seattle as I learned that it wasn't doing anything except potentially damaging the bark (thanks PSBA!).
